In conversation with many buyers, sellers and other REALTOR's, one main topic has been highlighted..."Where is the market going"?  With the promise of another rate reduction in late January, the time to buy could not be better.  We have all seen prices drop, inventories are at an all time high and buyers have more choices for their money. Everyone must realize, for those waiting to purchase their new home, by buying now you are being smart, if you wait too long waiting for the market to hit bottom, you may have missed your window of opportunity by one day.  Always remember there is no true "National Real Estate Market" and every regional market is different.  For me, the Roanoke Valley Association of REALTORS Association is doing well even these times and has not been overly affected by the national media gloom and doom reports.
